Vitamins are needed for regular performance of the body - Growth, Digestion & Nerve Function. Vitamins & Minerals are needed in steady and small quantities and they together create the micro nutrients vital to maintain healthy mind and body.
There are two types of vitamins, essential and Non-Essential. At this time there are 13 vitamins that are Essential required by the body which must be obtained from the food we eat. Vitamins taken in the form are dietary nutritional supplements should be employed by the body when taken together with food and nutrient supplements are not the substitute for the whole foods.
